Taxi from Beauvais Airport to Paris

Without traffic, the drive from Beauvais airport to western or northern Paris takes around 1 h 10, and about 1 h 15 to the city centre. The airport itself quotes 1 h to 1 h 30 depending on the time of day and where you are going, and the last few kilometres into Paris can take much longer at rush hour. The Aérobus A01 shuttle runs from the airport to Porte Maillot (Boulevard Pershing, 17th arrondissement) every 15 to 30 minutes, for 17.90 € per adult online and 9.90 € for children aged 4 to 11. Line A04 goes to La Villette up to 10 times a day, booking required. For one person staying in western Paris, the shuttle is clearly cheaper than a taxi.

The taxi wins when:

• you are 3 or 4 adults: four shuttle tickets cost 71.60 € before you even buy metro tickets
• your address is far from Porte Maillot — eastern or southern Paris, the suburbs, a station on the other side of the city
• you travel with young children, a lot of luggage or reduced mobility
• you land late in the evening and don’t want to finish your journey on public transport

Anywhere in Paris and the Île-de-France region: your hotel, an apartment, an office, or a train station — Gare du Nord for the Eurostar, Gare de Lyon, Saint-Lazare or Montparnasse. La Défense, the business district west of Paris, is about 86 km from the airport, also around 1 h 10 without traffic.

We also pick you up in Paris for your flight out of Beauvais. The airport recommends arriving 1 h 30 to 2 h before a flight within the EU or the Schengen area. Its terminals are closed overnight and reopen from about 3:15 am, depending on the day. For a dawn flight, a taxi from your door saves you getting to Porte Maillot in the middle of the night — the first shuttle leaves Paris at 3 am.
